here are a few photos of the interior pages from my Remains of the Day journal. so many pretty pictures here I thought I'd break them up into two posts. so without further ado...part one...enjoy!
as many of you may recognize from some of the images above, I'm a big fan of all the Stampington & Co. publications. I'm also a big hoarder of these publications as I can't get myself to put them in the recycle bin no matter how old they are! This project gave me the perfect use for these beautiful magazines! My thanks to the artists that contributed the works shown above, that were first published in one of the Stampington & Co. publications, and have now been repurposed into the pages of my journal.
xoxo,
CS

Your pages are awesome. I also have used bits for Somerset pubs for my page fodder. I love the mix of colors too...LOVE IT

Lovely! Wouldn't it be fun to do a remains of the day swap? and make a signuature to swap with someone else!
I loved the class too - I just learned to sew, but I hated the slipcover I made so I bound mine in an old book, I should blog it. Espeically since I have not much else to do sitting around shoulder deep in snow durning a blizzard!
Hope you guys are warm and safe! maybe whenever we get out of the snow drift VA and MD has turned into we can get toghther!

I am becoming such a fan of your work....what fun that we are in the Young Victoria swap together. I too love the Stampington publications, and what a great way to make use of the wonderful photos that I don't earmark for other uses. I just hate to throw anything from them away! This is a perfect way not to have to do that. Thanks for sharing your work, your ideas, and your thoughts.
