making choices...

 

making a difficult choice...

is it the actual choice that is difficult?

or is it the knowledge

that we know what we've decided already

and are just not ready to face it?

though the weight of the difficult choice does not disappear

once made

the load does somehow seem lighter

easier to manage.

because you are no longer stuck

at the crossroads between the two choices.

for better or worse you have chosen a path

and have begun to walk down it.

i am right there...

i have seen this storm before...

and been knocked down by it.

tossed about.

tumbled.

never able to escape it.

the current always dragging me back in.

 

something has changed.

my feet are now secure.

i welcome the storm...

no matter how hard it blows

and threatens

and screams.

i will not fall.

 

i stand strong.

i believe.

i have faith.

the little team that could...

 

hello sweet friends!

i've just arrived home from the USTA 2.5 national tennis championships in palm springs, ca.

we came, we saw, we played our hearts out!

i've spent the last year training, sweating and having a ball with the above girls.

our amazing journey has come to an end and so i meet today in transition as i journey back to my, "regularly scheduled life!"

thank you to all my friends and family who had unending patience and support for my brief jaunt into a pro tennis career...lol! love you all to the end of space and back.
