and i go back to december...

yes, i know it's january...

yes, i know we are all moving on...

cleaning house...

starting fresh.

so i'll beg your pardon in advance...

for going back to december for two posts.

before i knew it, december had come and gone...

and i never had the chance to show you two very fun projects.

so for just one second...or two...hear those holiday carols once more...

and enjoy a view of my completed december daily project.

one of the reasons i wanted to show this to you my sweet friends

is that i incorporated so many pieces of vintage treasures that i received from my sweet blogging friends who played along in, a very vintage christmas ephemera swap.

friday's post will show you more photos specifically about the swap,

if you are a follower of the always inspiring ali edwards, then you know all about her "one little word" project. if this is a new concept to you, i highly recommend popping over here to read through the concept.

it has been a life altering project for me. this begins my 4th year of participating in the "one little word" project. starting in 2008 and moving forward my list of words:

self

courage

student

&

wisdom

it's amazing how when you simply alter your view to put your focus on a simple word, how often you find it popping up in your life in both big and small ways.

new this year, i will be keeping a mini journal/album of sorts to capture those moments that my word appears in my life. nothing special, no timeline...just a place i can jot down my findings of "wisdom" throughout the year.

since my little december daily ephemera albums were so very popular in the shop this year, i've put together a few "one little word" versions which i'll load into my etsy shop shortly...hopefully by this afternoon! they'll be chock full of lovely vintage paper ephemera and other goodies. i'll even personalize the cover with your own "word" if you like. :) each will have 50 plus pages and an extra embellishment package to get you started. $25 each and yes, i'm happy to customize the colors/papers for you!

**update...journals will be listed today...my sweetpea came down with the flu yesterday and everything came to a halt while my mama/nurse hat went on!**

hello and happy new year sweet friends! i know i've been absent awhile, with the holiday bustle and all. i am cleaning up and rearranging things around here. feels like a good time to dust out the corners! lot's of things to post in the coming days...my december daily is finished! yay! all sorts of eye candy coming...
