the lovely miss cerri of, little pink studio, hosted an easter basket swap, which i was lucky enough to be included in. i was extra lucky because i was partnered with the sweet , kris pare. i've swapped with this delightful girl in the past and love the things she puts together! we also have very similar taste which is always fun and makes it super easy to put goodies together. :)
i whipped out the sewing machine for her little basket made from bleached burlap. i loved the natural, organic feel that the burlap gave to the basket.
i attached vintage millinery pieces and seam binding to the sides...
lined it with a vintage sewing pattern
and voila!
one sweet little easter basket.
i filled up the basket with all sorts of vintage treasures...
i found the below playing cards at an antique mall in az. the deck included a chick, a bunny and a lamb! perfect for easter!
i also included a few of my teeny, tiny easter eggs. :)
wait until you see what the lovely kris put together for me...
coming next.
one of my fave swaps EVER!
xoxo,
cs
p.s. wishing a wonderful and blessed easter to each one of you my sweet friends. may you have peace in your soul and love in your heart. xoxo

Oh she will be delighted with such a lovely basket and goodies!
Happy Easter!
