to each and every one of my dear sweet friends,
this is an oldie, but a goodie.
and so very near and dear to my heart.
if anyone in your life
has every told you
you never will
you aren't enough
they are wrong.
so very wrong.
you are enough.
your wings are beautiful,
and though they may be hidden
and have not been in use for awhile
or they may be slightly broken and bruised
they will stretch when you want them to.
spread your wings
just a little
and just believe
you can be and do and accomplish
absolutely anything you want
no matter what anyone else says.

i truly love the above quote,
and the freedom it breathes into my life.
i have awoken from dreams
starting when i was a little girl
that seemed SO very real
that i was often unsure
whether it was a dream
and our day to day job of "living,"
i think it becomes easy
to stop dreaming
to push those moments aside
because we have so very, very much
to do and accomplish.
the truth though,
is that without dreams and dreamers
in our world
there are SO many things and moments
that never would have been
never would have been invented
never would have been accomplished.
the olympic athlete,
and all the un-named faces
who have accomplished what they needed to
or wanted to
simply because they had a dream.
when was the last time
you simply LET yourself dream...
let yourself believe
let the impossible take hold in the realm of possibility?
you are never too old
it's never too late
you can always start anew.
dream your dreams.
let them take root.
breathe them into your daily life
and watch the possibilities unfold.
p.s. if you click on the graphic above, it will bring up a 4 x 6 size that you can print out for use in your personal art or journaling.
